"Are we just playing around out here, or do we mean what we say? If all we do is come together and read a bunch of poems to each other, what the hell are we doing?"

“I never think that a film should answer questions for you. I think it should make you ask a lot of questions.”

Happy 45th Birthday Edward Norton! (18th August 1969)

"That was the summer of 1963 - when everybody called me Baby, and it didn’t occur to me to mind. That was before President Kennedy was shot, before the Beatles came, when I couldn’t wait to join the Peace Corps, and I thought I’d never find a guy as great as my dad. That was the summer we went to Kellerman’s."

Their heads weren’t found severed. Their heads were not found at all.

A bit fairytale.

What was fun was during the filming of “Twin Peaks,” whenever David [Lynch] would come in and do an episode – and that’s something that’s never done because in television the writer is top of the totem pole – and he would come in and basically the script would just end up being destroyed. He would take out pages, we’d rearrange scenes, we’d change dialogue. I mean, we’d just completely bastardize what we had. And that was fun. It really felt like the inmates were taking over the asylum for a week, which he enjoyed as well. But it was always with a purpose.

MCCOY
One, just once, I’d like to be able to land someplace and say, Behold, I am the Archangel Gabriel.

SPOCK
I fail to see the humour in that situation, Doctor.

MCCOY
Naturally. You could hardly claim to be an angel with those pointed ears, Mister Spock. But say you landed someplace with a pitchfork.
